In one or more steam boiler applications, the BCS 700 Smart Bottom Bluff Control System with timing control consists of BC 700 Bottom Bluff Controller and BCV 740 Bottom Bluff Valve with Pneumatic Actuator.

The BCV 700 Dip bluff valve has the fast opening feature necessary for dip bluff. This fast opening feature causes suction that will allow to expel solid particles that settle to the bottom out of the boiler.

If the bottom bluff valve does not close completely after a certain period of time or does not open within a certain period of time, the alarm relay works to ensure a high level of safety.
